Canada Day Letterboxing in Oxford County

Canada Day was a great day for a road trip.  We spent the day touring around Oxford County looking for barn quilts on the Barn Quilt Trail and picked up a couple of letterboxes while we were at it.

We discovered the water park in Tillsonburg and I hope to get back there with the grandsons on a "grandparents day" when it is half price for adults to go in.  I think the boys will love it and there are lots of tables and shade for me.  We'll pack a picnic and spend the day perhaps.  Now if Mother Nature will just give us a good warm day but not scorching and humid.

We discovered this park while looking for This Chick's Gone Batty.  A great walk through the park and a nice stamp easily found.

Our last stop before heading home was to find Heading for Home in Ingersoll.

A great day, just the two of us, the sunshine, the open road, some barn quilts and a couple of great letterboxes.
