At a recent letterboxing meetup in Kitchener ON, a fellow 'boxer was passing around a very cool project to everyone who knew how to knit. I stitched a stitch or 2 or ?? The goal is to have knitters from all over Canada knit a few stitches and the finished pair of socks will be presented to one of our astronauts going to the Space Station.
After my knitting was done, I was asked to write a message and pose for a photo. As you can tell, I was photo-bombed by some tall handsome grandsons.
My message to the socks' owner: "I hear it is cold up there. Enjoy the socks."
