Subtitled My Education in Medicine and Motherhood, This Won't Hurt a Bit (and other white lies) is an excellent read. It is not hysterically funny; it is witty and smart. Au shares her life as she works to become a doctor. Some of her experiences are incredibly funny while others are not quite so funny. What doesn't change is her way of telling a story.
I recommend this book as a good read.
